Amine Systems

Amine System

Amine Systems removes Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) from various off/flue gases produced in a refinery, so as to prevent air pollution while burning of flue gases. Amine gas treating, also known as amine scrubbing, gas sweetening and acid gas removal process, refers to a group of processes that use aqueous solutions of various alkyl amines (commonly referred to simply as amines). It is a common process unit used in refineries, and is also used in petrochemical plants, natural gas processing plants and other industries. Amine has a natural affinity for both H2S and CO2 allowing this to be a very efficient and effective removal process. Amine Scrubber System can be delivered as Modular skid-mounted system, with reduced manufacturing and commissioning times, and with lower installation and removal costs.
